ABOUT THE ENGLISH (NEW ZEALAND) LANGUAGE
New Zealand-English is the official language of over 4 million people. In addition to their own branch of English, New Zealand has region specific languages such as Māori and a local version of sign language.
English was introduced in New Zealand by colonists in the 19th century, making it a relatively ‘young’ branch of English, being recognized as such for no longer than 150 years. The New Zealand variety of English was mainly influenced by the Australian, British, Irish and Scottish versions.
Our New Zealand-English speaking voices can be booked for many different types of productions including movie trailers, corporate video, e-learnings, radio commercials, TV-commercials and voice response messages.
In Russia a English speaking voiceover from New Zealand is called a “Новозеландско-английский голос”, in Portugal people talk about a “Nova Zelândia-voz em inglês” and in Poland it’s referred to as a “Nowa Zelandia-angielski głos”.
